Our Programs

 

At Poly, reading is the cornerstone of our curriculum, with an emphasis on critical thinking, and leadership development. 

 

  • ECP (Early Childhood Program) for ages 5-7: Help young learners develop basic language skills, and reading habits to lay a strong foundation in English.
  • ELE (Elementary Program) for G1-3: Focus on enhancing reading, vocabulary, and critical thinking while advancing bilingual proficiency through integrated subject learning. The tracks are divided into MAG for returning overseas students and MGT for gifted English learners, structured into S1–S3 levels.
  • GRAD (Graduate Program) for G4-9: Prepare students for entrance exams with a strong focus on debate, critical thinking, and leadership.

MPoly’s GRAD curriculum offers a rigorous English education for grades 4–9, based on the American CCSS framework. Our curriculum integrates advanced fiction and nonfiction reading, writing, and vocabulary, with intensive debate and public speaking to cultivate academic excellence and leadership skills.

 

  • Honors (G4-5): Develop logical thinking, discussion, reading, and writing skills to prepare for admission to international middle schools.
  • Leaders (G6-7): Enhance critical thinking, debate, and writing skills in preparation for international school entrance exams.
  • Masters (G8): Strengthen English proficiency and academic performance while preparing for admission to prestigious high schools, including international and science high schools.
  • Elites (G9): Advance English fluency and maintain high proficiency while preparing for top-tier high schools, international and science high schools, and university entrance exams. 
Magnet is Poly's English program designed for the highest-achieving learners, offering the most rigorous and advanced curriculum. Our curriculum is designed for kindergarten (ages 5-7) and elementary students (grades 1-4), focusing on vocabulary development and literacy through exclusive North American textbooks. Our programs foster a love of reading with post-reading activities, while our smart online learning system tracks student progress and ensures personalized instruction.

 

  • Kindergarten for ages 5-7: Textbooks and classes designed for top students, focusing on advanced vocabulary in writing, speaking, and reading. 
  • MAG1 to MAG4 (G1-4): Customized English programs for students with high potential, emphasizing essay writing, speech, debate, and advanced vocabulary.

3. Basic Requirements

 

  • Skilled in working with high-performing students in a fast-paced educational environment
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Must be a citizen of the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa, and be eligible for an E-2 teaching visa (or be a resident F-visa holder)
  • Apostilled diploma and criminal background check
  • Clean health assessment
  • Expertise in subject area(s) preferred

 

4. Hiring Period & Procedure

 

  • We have a continuous need for talented teachers, with positions available year-round. The application process typically takes 2-3 weeks, though this may vary depending on the position.  Before applying, please review the visa application process and estimated processing times in Korea.

  • Application Assessment: Review of qualifications and values,  and document screening by the Poly team

  • Interview Process: Evaluation of skills, values, and potential, typically through a panel interview (1:N).

  • Final Selection and Contract: Successful candidates will be notified and provided contract and onboarding details upon confirmation. 

 

5. Teacher Training & Workshops

 

  • Teachers begin with one day of curriculum training, followed by two days of observation at a branch to meet staff and apply what they've learned.
  • After arriving at their branch, teachers go through an orientation to understand their responsibilities and receive feedback from experienced teachers.
  • We hold biannual workshops and training sessions to empower teachers to enhance their teaching methods and abilities.

POLY is looking for qualified homeroom teachers to serve as kindergarten to elementary school-age teachers. You will be teaching mainly kindergarten classes in the mornings with elementary classes in the afternoons.
