Job Description

Position Name: Full-Time Subject Teacher – Fall Semester 2026

                           Full-Time Librarian - ASAP 


Openings:

 - Subject Teachers: Social Studies(Economics), Chaplain, Korean Language, Physics, English, PE, G5 Homeroom 

 - Librarian
Contract Period: TBD 
Visa Requirement: F-Visa, E-2 Visa, or Korean Nationality

Main Responsibilities:

Subject Teacher 
●    Teach American curriculum to students in English and align with and support the School’s guiding principles.
●    Maintain clear and professional communication with faculty to ensure collaboration, alignment on curriculum goals, and effective teamwork within the school.
●    Plan and implement creative, student-focused curricula that prioritize active learning.
●    Develop and manage academic resources, including, but not limited to, student files, assessments, and curriculum materials.
●    Contribute thoughtful and relevant feedback on the School’s programs and curriculum for continuous improvement.
●    Conduct individual parent-teacher conferences once a semester to discuss student behavior, academic progress, and areas for improvement.
●    Maintain regular informal communication with parents as needed, ensuring transparency and consistency in addressing student-related concerns.
●    Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Librarian 

●    Manage and maintain the school library and learning resource center in support of the American curriculum.

●    Support students and faculty in locating, evaluating, and utilizing academic and informational resources.

●    Organize, catalog, and maintain library collections, including print and digital resources.

●    Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum-related research, reading, and inquiry-based learning.

●    Foster a welcoming, organized, and student-friendly library environment that encourages independent learning and reading. 

●    Maintain accurate library records, inventory, and circulation systems. 

●    Communicate professionally with faculty, students, and parents as needed regarding library use and resources. 

●    Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards at all times. 

Qualifications
●    Minimum Requirements:

(Subject Teacher) 
○    Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a subject-related field from a recognized institute of higher education.
○    Native or near-native fluency in English – all classroom instruction and facilitation will be in English.
○    At least one year of full-time teaching experience in an accredited secondary school setting.

(Librarian)

○    Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institute of higher education.

○    Proficiency in English sufficient to support students and staff in an English-speaking academic environment.

○    Experience working in a library, educational, or academic support setting. 
●    Preferred:
○    Possession of a valid teaching certification. (for Subject Teacher roles). 
○    Demonstrated experience with Understanding by Design (UbD) framework.
○    Proficiency in utilizing different school information systems
○    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a subject-related field.
○    Alignment with a Christian faith background
○    Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean

○    Familiarity with library management systems (for librarian).

○    Understanding of student research skills, information literacy, and reading development (for librarian). 

Working Conditions:
●    Student Type: G4-G11
●    Working Hours: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

For Subject Teachers 
●    Teaching Hours: Max of 25 contact hours weekly, which includes teaching, homeroom, study hall, and other school responsibilities
●    Class Time: 85-minute classes
●    Class Size: 16-20 students
●    Teacher Training: Provided

●    Lunch: Provided

For Librarian 

●    Work Scope: Library Management, student support, and faculty collaboration
●    Lunch: Provided

 

Salary: Discussed during the interview.
