Working Hours: 8:10 AM - 5:10 PM

Full Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing teacher who understands how to engage young learners through an interactive, hands-on approach to education. The ideal candidate should have experience in early childhood education and be able to teach the four core subjects (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) in a structured yet creative classroom setting.

Start Date: ASAP
Student Type: 6-year-old Kindergarten students
Class Size: Small group setting (8-10 students per class)
Curriculum: US Common Core
 

Kindergarten Teacher Responsibilities

• Teach English, Math, Science, and Social Studies using age-appropriate, engaging methods
• Create a structured yet play-based learning environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning
• Foster language development, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth through interactive activities
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with US Common Core standards and support project-based learning
• Assess students' progress using effort grades, developmental observations, and written feedback
• Communicate effectively with parents through parent conferences, weekly updates, and progress reports
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure a holistic approach to education
• Lead one afternoon student activity per week
• Summer & Winter Camp Teaching Required

Qualifications and Competencies

• Experience in early childhood education or international school settings preferred
• Highly Qualified: Teacher Certification from an English-Speaking Country
• Passion for working with young learners and a strong understanding of early childhood development
• Bilingual in Korean and English (preferred) – able to read, write, and speak both languages fluently
• Proficient in MS Office & Google applications
• Self-motivated, flexible, and organized with strong classroom management skills
• Salary: 2.3M - 3.0M KRW (based on experience and qualifications)
