1. Role and Responsibilities The Vice Principal plays a key role in ensuring a smooth day-to-day functioning of the school while contributing to long-term planning and development. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of school life- from academics and student support to events and parent communication. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Academic Leadership • Support curriculum planning and implementation across Elementary and Secondary • Help maintain strong instructional practices through lesson plan review and teacher feedback • Conduct classroom observations and support ongoing academic development Teacher Support & Collaboration • Assist with teacher recruitment, onboarding, and support • Work closely with teachers to ensure a positive and productive teaching environment • Support day-to-day coordination, scheduling, and staff needs Admissions & Student Experience • Support admissions processes including parent interviews and student placement • Help welcome and onboard new students and families • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture Student Support • Collaborate with the leadership team to address student academic and behavioral needs • Participate in parent meetings when needed • Help ensure systems are in place to support student well-being School Operations & Events • Support planning of the academic calendar, school events, and programs • Assist in coordinating field trips, extracurricular programs, and special events • Help manage schedules, timetables, and key school processes Parent & Community Communication • Communicate with parents through meetings, events, and school updates • Support parent engagement opportunities such as PTAs and Parent-Teacher Conferences • Help maintain clear and consistent communication across the school General Leadership & Administration • Collaborate with the leadership team on school-wide planning and initiatives • Support policy implementation and school systems • Oversee relationships with selected academic partnerships, external vendors, and programs, serving as the main point of contact 2. Candidate Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field • Experience in education (teaching or leadership role preferred) • Bilingual fluency in English and Korean • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Preferred: Experience in an international school setting, master’s degree in a relevant field, direct experience in school leadership or management of a large organization
