Job Description
We are a literacy-focused learning program serving K-5 students.
Our program emphasizes Structured Literacy, Science of Reading, creative writing, MAP-aligned reading skills, and independent learning habits.
Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed elementary teacher passionate about early literacy and skill-based reading instruction. Ideal candidates understand phonics, reading comprehension skills, writing development, and positive student engagement.
Responsibilities
- Teach phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing
- Track student progress and provide individualized feedback
- Communicate proactively with parents and team
- Collaborate on curriculum & assessment development
Requirements
- Active US or Canada teaching license (G.4-6)
- Experience teaching reading, writing, and debate
- Familiarity with Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop
- Strong communication & feedback skills
- Familiarity with formative and summative assessments
Preferred
* F-Visa Holder
- MAP test familiarity
- Familiarity with AP and IB Curriculum
- Experience with writing instruction (guided writing)
- Google Classroom / Slides / Seesaw experience
Salary
Starting From 2.4 M won (Negotiable based on experience, education and/or qualifications)
