The initial contract for this role begins on January 8th, 2025 and ends on August 19th, 2025. We will be
starting interviews as we receive candidates either virtually, on GoogleMeet, with the School Principal and General Manager, or, preferably, in person. We will close the position once it is filled.

Responsibilities Overview

• Follow the format and expectations provided by SPAS to create a syllabus, unit plans, rubrics, and weekly lesson plans for students
• Plan regular and consistent homework assignments and provide feedback/corrections
• Create tests and projects to measure and ensure student learning
• Prepare progress reports and report cards at the end of each term
• Attend and participate in faculty and staff meetings
• Take part in PTCs (Parent-Teacher Conferences) and speak/discuss with parents regarding their children
• Attend official SPAS functions as outlined on the calendar

The opening is for a STEM/Math position on our Bundang Campus.

• Work Day: 7:40 AM - 4:40 PM
• Once a week: -4:50PM for Staff Meetings
• Weekly Student Contact Hours: 25
• Class Hours: 20
• ASA: Included in Contact Hours
• Other Duties: Lunch/Recess supervision, included in Contact Hours
• Contract Term: Annual
• Renewable upon successful evaluation and mutual agreement

Standards: Common Core Math, NGSS,

• The Math/STEM role will have 10 classroom hours of math and up to 10 hours of STEM-related classes as electives for secondary school students.
• Weekly lesson plans and LMS updates

Reporting System:

• This role reports directly to and is supervised by the school’s Vice Principal

Our hired candidate will be placed into two PLCs - Math and Science - and benefit from the experience of the veteran teachers in those departments while contributing new ideas and new energy. This role will factor into the future growth of the Bundang STEM program - our ideal candidate will not only have ideas that will benefit the program but also experience with contributing to similar programs in the past, not simply maintaining them.
