Job Description
1. Roles and Responsibilities
Teach kindergarten students ages 5-7 speaking, stories, arts and crafts, phonics, reading, and writing. Also, the position will have some afternoon elementary school ESL classes.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Employing a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
• Observing each child and help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for children
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.)
• Supervise children to ensure they are always safe
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
2. Candidate Qualifications:
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• Hold an F4 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy
• TESOL or TEFL certificate required
3. Working Conditions
• Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary
• Curriculum: Curriculum and Lesson Plans Provided
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.
• Teaching Hours: Max. 30 hours/week
• Teacher Training: Provided
Salary
From 2.2 Million KRW and up (Negotiable Upon Experience)
