ESL Teachers Wanted at Yeongcheon English Town

1. Role and Responsibilities You will be a homeroom teacher for our elementary classes. Follow the premade curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Teaching Responsibilities • Designing the curriculum and lesson plans • Conducting lessons • Creating in-class/extracurricular activities and games • Creating testing materials • Grading tests and evaluating assignments • Planning and organizing occasional school events • Other duties and responsibilities written in the contract 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must; • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Yeongcheon English Town mainly has the following programs Teachers can discuss which grade to teach between 3~4 and 5~6 except for Topic classes. (1) Every Morning • Topic classes for elementary students: for grade 4, 5, 6, teaching the same topic all year. ex) airport, hotel, music, theater, etc (2) Monday • Adult afternoon/night class: for 2 hours every Monday, overtime pay provided for night classes (3) Tuesday and Thursday • Afterschool class: for grade 3~6, teach conversations based on the book (4) Wednesday • Gifted class: for grade 5, 6 gifted students on Wednesdays(1 teacher) • Big book class: for grade 3~6 based on storybooks/big book(5 teachers) (5) 3-week Camp for Elementary grade 3 and 4: twice a year as a summer camp during August and winter camp during January 4. Working Conditions • Student Type: Elementary • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 22 hours per week (Over time: 25,000 KRW per hour) • Class Size: 10 - 15 students per class • Teacher Training: Provided • Teaching Staff: 6 Native English Teachers
