YBM ECC is a subsidiary company of the YBM Education company, known for its well-made textbooks. YBM ECC provides an ESL-focused education for learners ranging from kindergarten to middle school. The school usually targets older elementary school students, with a focus on public school curriculum and exams. The curriculum is textbook and academic-based. There is also a bilingual Korean co-teacher. 1. Responsibilities Overview • Meet necessary needs of building English communication skills through textbooks • Teach basic English communication skills through extracurriculars such as art, physical education, and musical • Grade student assignments and give feedback. • Meet learning goals and track student improvement through periodic student assessments. • Attend staff meetings as well as participate in training workshops. 2. Requirements • Native English Speaker from USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA • Koreans with English fluency or experience of living abroad in the countries listed above (May differ based on each branch) • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Eligible for E-2 Visa • F-visa holders 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten & Elementary (Up to Gr. 6) • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. • Teaching Hours: Average 30 hours a week • Curriculum and lesson plans provided • Teacher training provided • Teaching Staff: 7 Native English Teachers
