Kindergarten Program

    • English immersion based on the North American Curriculum.
    • Integrates Korean, mathematics, and arts.
  • Textbooks: Self-developed to suit Korean children's linguistic needs.
  • Structure:
    • 12 themes aligned with the Early Childhood Education Curriculum.
    • Vocabulary learned through Hyeclass and Common Core Sight Words.
    • Themed Speaking Class for vocabulary enhancement and speech practice.

Elementary Program

  • Age Group: 8-10 years
  • Tracks:
    • Foundation Course: For beginners, focusing on basic vocabulary and phonics.
    • Advanced Course: For students with prior English experience, covering reading, writing, speaking, and grammar.
  • Goal: Enhance language skills and empower students to discuss social issues confidently.

English Teacher Wanted at Wyatt Institute Haeundae

Most of our teachers consider teaching as a long-term career. (more than half of the teachers have renewed their contracts) 1. Role and Responsibilities You will be an English teacher for our Kindergarten students and teach a few elementary classes in the afternoon. Follow the premade curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Need to create lessons based on the curriculum • Be able to lead and guide reading comprehension lessons • Teach phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Sing, dance, roleplay, and create art with students • Follow a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Add your own activities to help students learn better • Meet learning goals and track student improvement • Attend meetings, workshops, and special events required by the institute • Actively engage students in the learning process. • Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group. 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must; • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 11:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M., • Teaching Hours: 26 - 30 hours per week 1) Morning time: 7-year-old children (prep classes for entering competitive elementary institutes) 2) Afternoon: Elementary (Grade 1-5) Novel and nonfiction reading classes, followed by discussion, debate, and essay writing • Break Time: 1 hour per day (Hours can vary according to the class schedule) • Lunch: Meal provided by the school • Class Time: 50 minutes per class • Class Size: On average, 8 students per class • Teacher Training: Provided • Teaching Staff: 4 Native English Teachers & 3 Korean Teachers
