Welcome to Worwick Franklin Institute
Our school name comes from the phrase "Worldwide Children in Korea," reflecting our commitment to nurturing outstanding children who will grow into global leaders. We recognize and respect each child’s individuality, understanding that every student progresses at their own pace. By tailoring class placements to their strengths—whether in speaking, listening, reading, or writing—we foster confidence in young learners.
We integrate the curriculum of American private schools, following the American curriculum and the International Reading Association (IRA) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
We believe that true global leadership demands more than proficiency in English. We integrate Korean, science, mathematics, social studies, and the arts into a dynamic curriculum. Through hands-on activities, outdoor learning, and creative exploration, students apply their knowledge in meaningful ways, developing confidence in English and the ability to think critically for themselves. Beyond academic excellence, we emphasize holistic character development—instilling essential values such as attitude, habits, courtesy, independence, and motivation. We believe these qualities form the foundation of a true global leader.
Since opening in 2017, we’ve expanded to 13 campuses across Korea’s major cities, and we remain committed to empowering students to lead with knowledge, integrity, and a global mindset.

Our Curriculum and Programs
Our curriculum offers a well-rounded education that fosters both academic and personal growth, with a focus on early childhood development.
We offer kindergarten and elementary programs, with our kindergarten students typically aged between 5 to 7 years of age, with some of our campuses offering 4-year-old classes. Elementary education generally covers grades 1-3, though certain campuses may also focus on grades 4-6.
Every campus has specific programs, but all follow the WORWICK educational philosophy, which fosters a stress-free English environment that promotes critical thinking and self-discovery. Our curriculum focuses on four key areas:
- Language Arts: Focuses on phonics, reading, writing, and speaking, with the WORWICK Education Program and Book Club to enhance language skills.
- STEAM: Combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, offering hands-on learning experiences while developing English proficiency.
- Theme-Based Activities: Encourages creativity through Music, Art, Drama, Gardening, Cooking, and activities like Flower Arrangement and Speech, helping students express themselves in fun and meaningful ways.
- Physical Activities: Promotes physical development through Sports, Movement, and Play-based Learning.
Textbooks and Resources: We utilize books from U.S. publishers (Scott Foresman Reading Street, Thinking Tree, etc.), as well as in-house workbooks developed by our R&D team. Also, we use Scholastic's online Literacy Pro program, which offers 2,700+ digital books and quizzes.
Students read over 1,000 books on various topics and engage with editorials on world issues to develop a global perspective and cultural awareness.
