Wannabe Readers Program is the only very systematic class that uses Scholastic's book series, in Korea. We focuses on reading, discussion, and writing classes, and suggests the correct way to learn English for children who will be the leaders of the future.

Our Programs

Wannabe Leaders’ English Academy’s reading, discussion, and writing program has already earned a strong reputation among parents, with its effectiveness consistently proven through word-of-mouth. Built on years of classroom experience and continuous refinement, the program offers a specialized, differentiated, and fully integrated approach to global English education; designed not just to improve language ability, but to develop confident, well-rounded communicators.

At the core of the curriculum is a structured partnership with the U.S.-based SR Program, combined with a carefully designed 11-stage reading level system that guides students step-by-step from foundational literacy to advanced comprehension and critical analysis. Each stage is intentionally crafted to match students’ developmental needs, ensuring steady progression while maintaining engagement and challenge.

Supporting this framework is a proprietary workbook, developed and refined over more than a decade of educational expertise. This material goes beyond simple reading exercises, encouraging students to think critically, articulate their ideas clearly, and build strong writing skills. By integrating reading, discussion, and writing into one cohesive learning experience, students are able to deepen their understanding while actively using the language in meaningful ways.

Branch and Location

Our district is located at the northeastern end of Seoul. Soo-rak Mountain and Bul-am Mountain are just outside of Kyung-gi-do so the street is always packed with mountain climbers. Also, there is a forest therapy area to promote health and cultivate the culture of the local people. Now it’s become a big-scaled residential area surrounded by beautiful nature and abundant green zones. With the opening of subway lines four and seven, the No-Won station area has become the place with the fifth largest floating population. No-Won-gu is now the center of northeastern Seoul in both reality and name.
