High-Paying Full-Time or Part-time English Teaching Positions (Debate, Speech, Digital SAT, AP, TOEFL, Reading Comprehension, Literature, Essay Writing) - Daechidong, Gangnam

Position: Full-Time or Part-Time Class Instructor (ASAP) Schedule Options (for Full-Time Postisions) : 5-Day Week: 5 days - 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. 6-Day Week: Monday to Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Mon-Fri), 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Sat). Similar teaching hours as the 5-day schedule, with Saturday classes included. Additional preparation and grading hours required for both schedules. Key Responsibilities: Teach subjects like English Literature, Essay Writing, Reading Comprehension, Speech Writing, TOEFL Reading & Writing, Vocabulary Development, SAT Test Prep, AP, IB courses & Debate for grades 2-11. Create engaging, student-centered lessons within the curriculum framework. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and participation. Assess and provide constructive feedback on student performance. Collaborate with fellow instructors to ensure a cohesive learning experience. Participate in curriculum development to tailor lessons to student needs. On-site and Zoom classes Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (preference for degrees from US/UK universities). Advanced degrees are welcome. Ivy League, HYPS, and Oxbridge graduates preferred. Experience: Prior teaching experience, especially in Daechi / Apgujung or a similar curriculum, is highly desirable but not necessary Skills: Strong lesson planning and classroom management. Proficiency in Google Classroom, Google Suite, Canva, PowerPoint, and Word. Requirements: Apostilled CBC, university diploma, and clean self-medical health check. Commitment: A long-term stay in Korea is preferred. Compensation: For Full-Time Positions: Severance pay provided upon contract completion. Salaries are negotiable based on experience. Set curriculum with the freedom to construct engaging lesson plans that meet learning objectives. Foster a dynamic and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. Provide constructive feedback on student progress and maintain performance records. Participate in curriculum development sessions to refine test prep and debate content for diverse student needs. Who You Are: Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field from a 4-year accredited university (preference for US/UK universities). Advanced degrees are welcomed. Experience: Prior experience teaching Debate, TOEFL, or SAT prep is highly desirable. Skills: Strong public speaking and debate coaching skills. Proficiency in digital teaching tools and classroom management. Requirements: Apostilled CBC, university diploma, and clean self-medical health check. Commitment to staying in Korea for the foreseeable future. Compensation: Competitive hourly rate starting at 35,000 KRW/hour, negotiable based on experience. Benefits: Major national holidays off.
