About SNT EDU SNT EDU is a well-established English academy in Daechi (Gangnam) focused on building critical thinking and real communication skills in elementary and middle school students (grades 1–7). Our core programs cover discussion, debate, speaking and presentation, writing, novels, and TOEFL — delivered through structured, high-quality classes in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The Role & Schedule We're hiring part-time instructors, with a strong preference for teachers who can commit to weekend classes (Saturday and/or Sunday). Teachers who can also cover weekday afternoons/evenings are a big plus. Weekend — Priority Hiring Saturday: 10:00 AM–8:00 PM (assigned specific class blocks) Sunday: 10:00 AM–8:00 PM (assigned specific class blocks) Weekday Hours (Optional) Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (part-time blocks available) This is an hourly, part-time role based on the classes you teach — you don't need to work every available slot. What You'll Teach Debate & Discussion — reasoning, rebuttals, respectful argument Speaking & Presentation — speech delivery, confidence, Q&A Writing — argumentative, persuasive, compare/contrast, structured responses Novel Studies — guided analysis of novels and current events, discussion prompts, critical thinking TOEFL Prep — reading strategy, vocabulary routines, and our SNT passage mind-map method What We Provide (So You Can Focus on Teaching) A structured curriculum and teaching guides Lesson materials — novels, articles, prompts, worksheets, and TOEFL content A professional team that shares standards, support, and resources Clear expectations and onboarding training to help you succeed quickly Teaching Responsibilities Run engaging, structured speaking and debate lessons Coach students through clear writing structure and strong reasoning Teach TOEFL-style reading strategies and vocabulary routines Maintain positive classroom management and high participation Communicate professionally with the academic team (brief updates as needed) Admin & Reporting — Streamlined We keep admin predictable with ready-made rubrics, templates, and shared systems: Quick feedback after each class (short notes, template provided) Grading short quizzes (vocab/reading checks — answer keys provided) Revising student essays using our rubric and comment structure Quarterly feedback reports (guided format, completed during set periods) Monthly feedback only for new students Basic help with speech/video submissions (we'll train you) Who We're Looking For Native English speaker (USA/UK preferred, for E-2 visa eligibility) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (strong preference for US/UK institutions, especially well-ranked ones) Prior experience teaching debate or TOEFL is a strong plus — not required Apostilled criminal background check, apostilled diploma, and a clean health check A commitment to staying in Korea for the foreseeable future Is This You?
