SLP Osan is looking for qualified teachers to serve as English teachers. As a teacher at SLP, you will be teaching students from age 5 to grade 8. You will teach in an English immersion program that focuses on topics such as phonics, basic writing, stories, science, and arts & crafts and help students gain confidence in English. Responsibilities Overview • Delivering effective instruction in accordance with the curriculum and educational standards of the Institute. • Accumulate background knowledge and reading skills through various content, while engaging in speaking activities to express understanding • Read articles addressing real-world issues and participate in discussions, debates, and various speaking and writing activities. • Overseeing and ensuring the welfare, safety, and productive engagement of students during instructional and institutional activities. • Actively contributing to the creation, development, and execution of the curriculum, adapting to the evolving educational needs of students. • Conducting student assessments, providing constructive feedback, and preparing detailed evaluation reports to track and support student progress. • Have regular teaching evaluations conducted by the Academic Supervisor or other designated administrators • Adhering to and implementing the established teaching policies and guidelines of the Institute. • Participating in group teaching sessions, demonstrating teaching methodologies, and engaging in peer learning. • Engaging in training programs organized by the SLP Institute or SLP headquarters, aiming for continuous professional enhancement. Requirements • Native-level proficiency in English • Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement) • Eligible for or possesses an E-2 visa with citizenship from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa. • F visa or Korean citizenship holders • Apostilled documents (Diploma & Criminal Record Check) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about teaching. • Ability to adapt to a new cultural environment. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten, Elementary & Middle (50% kindergarten, 40% elementary, 10% middle school) • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. • Curriculum: Curriculum & Lesson plan provided
