Welcome to Mount Pisgah!

As a teacher with over 20 years of experience and a mother of two, I am deeply honored to serve as the principal. At Mount Pisgah, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive and immersive English education program. We understand the importance of not just academic development but also the value of instilling respect, empathy, and positive attitudes in our students, ensuring that they grow into compassionate individuals who understand the importance of kindness, cooperation, and inclusivity.

Our school serves both kindergarten and elementary students, and we take pride in integrating learning into their natural play. By balancing child-directed and teacher-guided activities, we carefully plan environments, interactions, routines, and materials that actively engage each child in meaningful learning experiences.

We strive to make learning enjoyable through events such as market days, pajama parties, and spelling bees, providing students with opportunities to build confidence.

Curriculum &  Methodologies

Our kindergarten program (ages 5-7) combines the national Nuri Curriculum with our English programs. Both our kindergarten and elementary programs are built on our student-centered educational philosophy, incorporating play, reading, and theme activities to nurture confident learners.

Textbooks & Resources We integrate American textbooks into our curriculum to guide lessons, while creating diverse environments and situations to enhance the children’s learning experience. Our main building features spacious activity rooms, and outside, we have a farm and hiking trail that offer interactive learning opportunities with nature. Additionally, we use RAZ-Kids and Scholastic's Literacy Pro, both of which offer interactive eBooks and quizzes to support personalized reading development.
Campus We have a main building for our regular programs and a secondary building primarily used for graduations and camps.
