Welcome to Hillside Collegiate (HC) Junior Gwanggyo

Our approach to education is rooted in exploration, creativity, and personalized care, ensuring that each student develops a love for learning. Our commitment to student-centered, differentiated instruction is central to our philosophy. By dividing students into small groups, we can tailor our teaching methods to meet each child’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the attention and support required to thrive. We also emphasize outdoor learning, integrating subjects across the curriculum through engaging activities in nature, which fosters creativity and enhances their learning experiences. From Pre-K to lower elementary, we follow a North American curriculum based on Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Our holistic approach to education ensures that each child is well-rounded, with not only strong academic skills but also emotional intelligence, independence, and a deep sense of personal responsibility.
