Welcome to RISE Yongin!

We believe learning should be fun, interactive, and inspiring, and our goal is to create a positive, engaging environment where everyone can thrive. Our campus is directly managed by RISE headquarters, which means our teachers and staff benefit from dedicated administrative support. Our students are bright and motivated, and many of our upper-level learners have achieved outstanding results in national competitions. We’ve had winners in the RISE Writing Competition, TOEFL Primary (Steps 1–2), and TOESEL (Starter, Junior, and Basic levels).

What truly makes our campus special, though, is the people. Many of our native English teachers have chosen to stay with us for the long term, which speaks volumes about the strong sense of community and the supportive culture we’ve built together.

Employment

Work Environment & Teacher Expectations

We are proud to say that many of our teachers choose to stay with us—some have been here for 3 to 4 years, and others have stayed for 8 years or more. That kind of long-term commitment speaks volumes about the supportive, rewarding environment we have built on our campus. We welcome both experienced teachers and passionate newcomers. New teachers receive comprehensive online and on-site training to set them up for success in the classroom. What matters most is a genuine love for teaching, a creative spirit, and a positive attitude. If you enjoy working with kids and believe that learning should be fun, you’ll fit right in.

Reasons to Work at RISE Yongin

  • Consistent Support from RISE Headquarters: RISE’s headquarters provides thorough, step-by-step assistance with hiring, visa processing, training, onboarding, and housing. Our RISE HQ team continues to offer administrative support to teachers in case of any difficulties.
  • Structured Curriculum and Teacher Support: Our structured curriculum and lecture materials remove the stress of lesson planning, and our Korean teaching assistant helps monitor student behavior in the classroom.
  • Provide Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a predictable schedule and scheduled breaks to support your personal well-being.

Key Considerations

  • Our campus is situated in a busy industrial area, just a 4-minute walk from Bojeong-dong Cafe Street and close to popular shopping malls such as Starfield Market.
  • Teachers should feel confident in adapting their instruction style to meet the needs of early learners.

Hiring Period & Procedure

  • We actively recruit energetic teachers ahead of our March and September semesters, and also welcome ongoing applications to expand our team.

  • Hiring is managed through our HQ team, led by David Moon, Head of R&D and Recruiting. Interviews are held after the application review and are recorded for our team’s review prior to making a formal offer.
