As an English Teacher at POLY (Campus name), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students ranging from kindergarten to elementary school. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for the English language. Your role will involve planning and implementing engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the school's educational programs. Responsibilities Overview • Teach engaging and effective English lessons following POLY's North American curriculum and educational standards. • Utilize a structured, textbook-based approach to deliver lessons that emphasize academic rigor and intellectual growth. • Cater to higher-level students, challenging them to reach their full potential through advanced coursework and activities. • Participate in school events (POLY Speech Contest) and professional development opportunities (POLY Teachers' Workshops, POLY Teacher's Training Sessions, and Foreign Language Instructors' Seminar) • Regularly evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, and other assessment tools, providing detailed feedback to support their academic development. • Maintain a disciplined and orderly classroom environment conducive to focused learning and academic excellence. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a cohesive and supportive teaching community. Requirements • Native-level proficiency in English • Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement) • Eligible for or possesses an E-2 visa with citizenship from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa. • F visa or Korean citizenship holders • Apostilled documents (Diploma & Criminal Record Check) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and cultural contexts.
