1. Role and Responsibilities POLY is looking for qualified homeroom teachers to serve as kindergarten to elementary school-age teachers. You will be teaching mainly kindergarten classes in the mornings with elementary classes in the afternoons. You will be responsible for the following: • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons • Grade regular homework assignments • Prepare and create tests and examinations • Track and report students’ performance and give feedback • Teach advanced English level kindergarten students ages 6-7 speaking, stories, arts and crafts, phonics, reading, and writing • Teach advanced English level elementary school students through speaking and writing, reading, grammar, and book discussion classes 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must; • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Working Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri, 9:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M., / Tue. & Thur., 9:30 A.M. - 6:40 P.M., • Class Time: 40 minutes per class • Class Size: Max. 12 students per class • Teacher Training: 1 week Provided (Arrive earlier to participate) • Teaching Staff: 13 Native English Teachers & 12 Korean Teachers

Responsibilities Overview • Teach engaging and effective English lessons following POLY's North American curriculum and educational standards. • Utilize a structured, textbook-based approach to deliver lessons that emphasize academic rigor and intellectual growth. • Cater to higher-level students, challenging them to reach their full potential through advanced coursework and activities. • Participate in school events (POLY Speech Contest) and professional development opportunities (POLY Teachers' Workshops, POLY Teacher's Training Sessions, and Foreign Language Instructors' Seminar) • Regularly evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, and other assessment tools, providing detailed feedback to support their academic development. • Maintain a disciplined and orderly classroom environment conducive to focused learning and academic excellence. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a cohesive and supportive teaching community.
