AP Science Teacher

1. About the Role Lausanne Collegiate Incheon is hiring AP subject teachers across multiple disciplines for our Middle and High School divisions. Applicants may apply for one or more of the following positions, based on subject expertise: AP Biology AP Chemistry AP Physics AP Environmental Science Our AP students prepare for admission to top universities in North America and beyond. As an AP teacher, you will deliver College Board–aligned instruction, build deep subject mastery alongside exam readiness, and partner with the College Counseling team on course placement and student trajectories. These are full-time positions. Responsibilities Plan and deliver AP-aligned curriculum following College Board frameworks for the assigned subject(s) Prepare students for AP exams while maintaining rigorous, conceptual subject learning Design formative and summative assessments; track and report student progress each term Coordinate with the College Counseling team on AP course placement and student readiness Communicate progress to parents in clear and accessible terms Contribute to AP program review, resource selection, and curriculum development Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, or a closely related natural science discipline (Master’s or higher preferred) Valid teaching license or certification (science subject endorsement preferred) Minimum 2 years of secondary-level classroom experience teaching science, ideally at AP, IB, or honors level Native or near-native English fluency Demonstrated ability to design and lead inquiry-based laboratory investigations aligned with College Board AP science requirements Strong content mastery in the relevant AP science discipline, including familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and proper use of scientific equipment Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and parents Preferred Qualifications Prior AP science teaching experience with documented student outcomes (AP exam score distributions, lab portfolios, etc.) College Board AP Summer Institute (APSI) training in the relevant science discipline, or equivalent professional development Experience in international school settings or multicultural environments Ability to teach across more than one of the listed AP science subjects 2. 1. About the Role You will lead general music instruction for students from Elementary Prep through Grade 8, building a vertically aligned program that takes learners from foundational musicianship to confident ensemble performance. Your classroom will balance singing, rhythm, music theory, instrument fundamentals, and music apprecition, with developmentally appropriate expectations at each level. Beyond the regular schedule, you will have the opportunity to lead an after-school orchestra program, shaping the school's instrumental culture and preparing students for school-wide performances and community events. The program follows U.S. national music education standards (NAfME / National Core Arts Standards), ensuring students develop musicianship aligned with international benchmarks. Elementary ELL Teacher 1. About the Role You will lead English language instruction for elementary students (K-G8) at Lausanne, where most learners arrive with Korean as their first language and a wide range of English proficiency — from emerging to near-fluent. Your work will move each student forward at their level through pull-out support, working in close coordination with homeroom teachers. This is a full-time position with one direct line of accountability: that students leave each year demonstrably more capable in academic English than when they arrived.
