ESL Teacher Wanted to Lastella Academy Winter Special Course in Jan. 2025 (3 weeks)

1. Role and Responsibilities You will be an ESL teacher for Lastella Academy's Winter Special Course. You will follow the school’s curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Teaching phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Following a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Adding your own activities to help students learn better • Meeting learning goals and tracking student improvement • Actively engaging students in the learning process. • Recognizing the needs of individual students and the entire class. 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must; • Be a Native English Speaker • Speak conversational Korean • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • F-visa holder or Korean citizen • Provide an Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Elementary Gr. 1 Students only (Fluent English speakers) • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided • Working Period: January 6, 2025 ~ January 24, 2025 (3 weeks) • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. 9:50–10:00: Morning Snack Time 10:00–10:40: Class 1 10:40–11:20: Class 2 11:20–12:00: Class 3 12:00–12:40: Lunch Time (Lunch provided) 12:40–13:30: Class 4 13:30–13:50: Afternoon Snack Time 13:50–14:40: Class 5 14:40–14:50: Dismissal / Bus Time *2 classes per day (Monday to Thursday) will be taught by other teachers. You can use these periods for class preparation or break.

1. Role and Responsibilities You will be a homeroom teacher for our Kindergarten students. You will follow the school’s curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Teaching phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Singing, dancing roleplaying, and creating art with students • Following a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Adding your own activities to help students learn better • Meeting learning goals and tracking student improvement • Attending meetings, workshops, and special events mandated by the institute • Actively engaging students in the learning process. • Recognizing the needs of individual students and the entire class. 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must; • Be a Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Hold or be eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Provide an Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten & Ementary (Gr. 1-2) • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 30 hours per week
