Academic Director Position at Lastella Academy

1. Role and Responsibilities You will serve as the Academic Director for the school. This role is ideal for experienced educators in Korea who are seeking to transition into a management or administrative leadership position. You will be responsible for the following: • Develop and oversee educational programs and curriculum • Collect and analyze data to evaluate and improve educational programs • Provide training and mentoring on teaching methodologies for both native English-speaking and Korean teachers • Coordinate and manage native English teachers’ schedules and workload distribution • Arrange class coverage and recruit native English teachers as needed • Conduct education-related consultations with students and parents 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must: • Must be a native English speaker with business-level Korean proficiency. • Must have teaching experience in Korea. • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • F-visa holders or Korean Citizens • Provide an Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy.

Short-Hour Position at Lastella Academy: Inspire Excellence in Education

1. Role and Responsibilities You will be a homeroom teacher for our Kindergarten students. You will follow the school’s curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Teaching phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Singing, dancing roleplaying, and creating art with students • Following a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Adding your own activities to help students learn better • Meeting learning goals and tracking student improvement • Attending meetings, workshops, and special events mandated by the institute • Actively engaging students in the learning process. • Recognizing the needs of individual students and the entire class. 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must; • Be a Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Hold or be eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Provide an Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten (Homeroom teacher for 7-year-olds in their second year) • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. or Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Class Size: Approx. 5 students per class
