Elementary ESL Teacher at KNS Edu: Teach an Immersive Language Learning Program

1. Roles and Responsibilities As an English subject teacher, you will help the students prepare for exams and create a comforting learning environment. You will be responsible for the following: • Teach basic to advanced English reading, writing, speaking, and listening • Actively engage students in the learning process. • Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students. • Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group. • Offer support and flexibility as needed. • Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process. • Participate in professional development activities that are aligned with the assigned curriculum and the varied needs of students • Grade homework and give feedback 2. Candidate Qualifications • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy • Prefers teachers that can teach academic English. • Prefers teachers that can teach IB and TOEFL listening. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Elementary School Students (Students are categorized based on their English proficiency) • Working Hours: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri 2:00 - 9:30 P.M. & Sat 9:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. OR Monday - Friday, 2:00 - 9:30 P.M. (Saturday work shift will be in rotation shifts of 6 months) • Teaching Hours: 4 - 5 hours per day • Class Time: 50 minutes per class • Curriculum: Curriculum provided • Class Size: 10-15 students per class • Teacher Training: Provided (1 week orientation) • Teaching Staff: Elementary Department 29 Teachers (17 Korean & 12 Native English) 4. Hiring Process • As part of the interview process, candidates will be asked to deliver a mock lesson. All necessary materials will be provided in advance for preparation. The mock lesson will be conducted during the interview. • Resume Screening > 1st Interview with Mock Lesson > 2nd Interview > Final Results
