1. Role and Responsibilities Jeongchul Junior Language Academy is an elementary and middle school English educational institution. Under the motto "English is Easy and Fun," we make students easily interested and entertained in English and improve their linguistic competence, creativity, and confidence with various activities that emphasize communication with native instructors. You will be responsible for the following: • Teach a variety of ESL classes to elementary and middle school students • Create fun and engaging supplementary activities for students • Grade basic homework assignments and write up report cards each semester on student progress • Attend weekly staff meetings and seminars • Teach phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Sing, dance, roleplay, and create art with students • Follow a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Add your own activities to help students learn better • Meet learning goals and track student improvement • Attend meetings, workshops, and special events required by the institute • Actively engage students in the learning process. • Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group. 2. Candidate Qualification • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • Hold an F4 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Elementary and Middle School • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 25 classes per week • Class Time: 30 minutes per class • Class Size: 10 students per class •Dinner Hour: 30-minute break after 3 hours of class • Teacher Training: Provided • Teaching Staff: 1 Native English Teachers, 5 Korean Teachers
