About Us
Jeongcheol Junior Language Academy is an elementary to high school English educational institution. Under the motto "English is Easy and Fun," we make students easily interested and entertained in English and improve their linguistic competence, creativity, and confidence with various activities that emphasize communication with native instructors.
Founded in 1979, Jeongcheol is a leading representative franchise in Korea that focuses on the revolution English language in various fields.
We currently have 5 native English-speaking teachers working at our academy.
Programs
We guide the optimal learning path by setting specific and challenging goals, and suggesting learning that suits them. We have 5 different levels for our students.
JC Phonics:
Fun activities and story-oriented education as the first steps in learning English.
JC Prep:
Education to promote creativity and thinking skills through a presentation by watching and learning various situations using animation.
JC Jr. Engine:
Education to acquire background knowledge in various fields such as a subject linked to American textbooks.
JC Pro:
Academic reading, essay writing, discussion, and presentation.
JC Middle School:
Preparation for middle school and mock college entrance exams.
Location Description
Changwon is the capital city of Gyeongsangnam-do, on the southeast coast of South Korea. With a population of 1.07 million, Changwon is South Korea's ninth-most populous city. A port city, Changwon is bordered by Masan Bay to the south, the cities of Busan and Gimhae to the east, and Jinju to the west.
KTX trains began running from Changwon to Seoul with a travel time of three hours. Masan Ferry Terminal offers service to the city of Geoje to the southeast. Gimhae International Airport (PUS) is the closest airport, 35 kilometers (22 miles) east of Changwon in the city of Gimhae. The airport was the 4th busiest in South Korea, with 14,900,815 passengers passing through.
