ESL Teaching Position at ILB for Late October 2024

Ivy League Buddies is a new school looking for dedicated teachers to help get our program off on the right track! This position starts at the end of October when we launch our Elementary program. The Kindergarten Program will begin in March 2025. From November 2024 to March 2025 you will be reviewing and studying the Kindergarten Program materials and books in the morning and teaching the Elementary Program in the afternoons. We believe this will be a great way to have our teachers ready to go for the start of the next school year! 1. Roles and Responsibilities • Teach phonics, reading, and speaking activities in a fun and interactive manner • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback • Collaborate with the Korean helper teacher to support students' learning • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must: • Be a native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. • Teaching Hours: Kindergarten 9:30 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. / Elementary 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. • Class Size: 10-12 students per class • Teacher Training: Provided • Lunch: Teachers do not need to eat with students
