1. Roles and Responsibilities As a kindergarten to an elementary school teacher at FTK, you will teach English to students from age 5 to 13 years old. We focus on young learners because early childhood is the most critical time period in a child’s life to develop their learning and thinking skills as well as build their emotional and social intelligence. All children deserve the opportunity to develop their potential for a successful future You will be responsible for the following: • Teach basic to advanced English reading, writing, speaking, and listening • Teach kindergarten students monthly themes • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment • Follow a set North American curriculum to help children learn • Assess students’ progress and provide individual feedback • Participate in school events and workshops 2. Candidate Qualifications: • Must be citizens of the following countries: U.S.A, Canada, U.K, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa. • Must have all required documents (apostilled nationwide criminal background check and an apostilled diploma from a 4-year accredited university. • A clean self-medical health check 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. • Class Time: 40 min per class • Class Size: 12-14 students in a class • Teacher Training: Provided
