Since I was young, I was often praised for being a bit slow but meticulous. I don't think the word "slow" bothered me more, but I didn't feel good. In a competitive society where you have to do everything quickly to be efficient and good at it, a "slow but meticulous" tendency may not seem like a good compliment. However, over time, I changed my mind. The basic skills that you've built stronger than others seem to help you adapt quickly to various fields of study and work.
