Job Description
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) Kinder Dongtan is looking for qualified homeroom teachers to serve as kindergarten homeroom teachers.
1. Responsibilities Overview
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons
• Grade regular homework assignments
• Prepare and create tests and examinations
• Track and report students’ performance and give feedback
• Teach kindergarten students ages 4-7 (Korean age) speaking, stories, arts and crafts, phonics, reading, and writing.
2. Requirements
All candidates must;
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy
3. Working Conditions
• Student Type: Kindergarten (Korean ages 4-7)
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. or 8:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
• Preparation Time & Breaks: Two 30-minute breaks for rest and additional preparation. 1-2 gap classes per day (For example, Native English Teacher has a gap class when students go into gym class, art class et.c)
• Curriculum provided
• Non-Teaching Duties: "Kids notes" paragraph given to the Korean Teacher for parents. Comments every 6- months. Lunch with students.
Salary
2,500,000 KRW and upwards (Negotiable)

• Severance: Paid upon the completion of employment
• Vacation: 3 weeks (2 weeks in the winter, 1 week in the summer) of paid vacation plus National Korean Holidays
• Airfare: One-way reimbursed for candidates outside of Korea
