[FT] Teacher Training & Development Specialist for Business English

[Job Description]

  • Plan, develop and deliver business English teacher trainings including new teachers/employees’ orientations
  • Collaborate with the R&D team in developing and organizing training manuals, visual aids and other educational materials that support teachers’ career development and company growth
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they are current and effective, and/or modifying and improving existing programs
  • Research and develop evaluation and measurement procedures of the effectiveness of SPEP’s programs, providing recommendations for improvement to teachers
  • Work closely with teachers/employees/managers in conducting training needs analysis for developing new training programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with teachers/other departments/employees to determine needs and to provide/receive feedback and training
  • Facilitate instructor-led workshops and learning events such as management skills, professional skills, team-building, mentoring, learning system processes, and cultural orientation as needed
  • Teaching hours will be scheduled based on yearly Academic & Training schedule

[Job Requirements/Qualifications]

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required (English)
  • Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business English teaching or corporate training field
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, English, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field
  • Ability to work productively on multiple projects/courses simultaneously
  • Ability to understand and implement adult learning theory and practices when facilitating and designing curriculum
  • Self-motivated, high-level of enthusiasm, and passionate about learning and development.
  • Experience using on-line collaboration and training development tools, including an LMS

[Locations/Schedule]

  • Seoul, Apgujeong Station 
    • Frequent business trips to various locations throughout Korea required
  • Monday to Friday 9:00AM ~ 6:00PM
    • Some Saturdays will be required
  • Start Date: Negotiable / ASAP ~ May 2025

[Salary]

  • Will be discussed during the interview (negotiable)
  • Different benefit package will be applied for staff position

[Minimum Requirements] 

  • Must have native English speaking level (Background in English speaking countries, such as USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa preferred)
  • All potential candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor degree from an accredited four-year university located in a country in which the native language is English (USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa).
  • Must have Original Diploma *Notarized with an Apostille
  • Must have Nationwide Criminal Background Check *with an Apostille
