Newton Talented Youth Academy is a recognized educational institute located in the heart of Gangnam, specifically in the Nonhyeon-dong area. As a college-preparatory program following an American curriculum, we are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and preparing students for top universities worldwide.

Over the past two years, Newton has experienced remarkable growth, tripling in student enrollment, and we are excited to celebrate the opening of our second campus in Jan 2025. As we expand, we are seeking passionate and qualified Math teachers to join our outstanding faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A demonstrated commitment to, and experience with Math  instruction
• Ability to work well with students, parents, teachers, and administrative staff
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be capable of teaching AP level math subjects in high school and middle school math:
  • AP Calculus, AP Statistics
  • Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in relevant field
• Experience with incorporating technology in the classroom
• Teaching license

Additional details include:

• Starting salary 3.75 - 5.0M Korean Won/month
• Position will start on August 1st, 2025
• This is a full-time position:  up to 25 hours/week teaching maximum + some additional duties (will discuss)
• Work day is from 8:40PM-4:40PM
• Can consider applicants with the following citizenship: USA, Korea, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand.
