Job Description
1. Roles and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
• Lesson planning, essay correction, report cards, term test paper preparation, new students’ interview
• Follow lesson plans and instructional materials to teach classes.
• Provide individualized and small group instruction to meet the needs of each student.
• Manage an organized and professional classroom that is conducive to learning and the development of the whole child.
• Actively engage students in the learning process.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students.
• Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group.
• Offer support and flexibility as needed.
• Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Participate in professional development activities that are aligned with the assigned curriculum and the varied needs of students.
2. Candidate Qualifications
All candidates must:
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy
3. Working Conditions
• Teaching Hours: Less than 30 hours per week
• Class Hour: Mon/Wed/Fri 2:00 - 9:00 P.M., Tue/Thu 2:30 - 9:30 P.M.
• Class Size: Max 12 students per class
• Teacher Training: 1-2 week paid training provided (Training will be done at the Dux Pyeongchon campus - 2 stations away from the Gwacheon campus)
• Teaching Staff: 4 Native English Teachers
Salary
2.4 million KRW and up (negotiable upon experience)

• Severance Pay: Paid upon the completion of employment (minimum 1-year contract)
• Vacation: 11 days plus National Korean Holidays
• Airfare: One-way reimbursed for candidates outside of Korea (up to 1,000,000 KRW)
Housing
Housing Provided, Housing Allowance Provided
Housing (2 subway stops away from the school) or Housing Allowance of max. 500,000 KRW will be provided.
