Position: R&D Curriculum Developer/Substitute Teacher for YBM KISA

 

Salary: 3.0 million won per month + 800,000 won Housing Stipend (Total compensation of 3.8 million won per month)

Korean Pension and Health Insurance: Fully comply with this regulation

Benefits: Severance pay, pension, Korean national medical insurance

Vacation dates: 4 weeks + all national Korean holidays off, No weekend work

Start Date: July/August

Work Place: YBM KISA

Working Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon to Fri (No late-night work) - Can leave at 5:00 pm

Typical work activities: Sub for teachers on vacation, teaching multiple subjects. R&D work for curriculum development duties such as checking spelling, grammatical errors, sub-editing text written by different authors to ensure consistent style and awareness of new words/phrases usage to ensure they are appropriate for our targeted students (Korean children studying at our YBM KISA). Collaborate with teaching staff to implement and refine new teaching strategies and ensure that they are uniform and aligned with learning objectives. Furthermore, the teacher should be able to work autonomously and will have the freedom to execute lesson plans as they see fit.
