Job Description



We are searching for a passionate and dependable Spanish teacher to join our team. The Spanish teacher’s responsibilities include teaching oral and written Spanish, tailoring lesson plans to individual students or classes, and setting homework and assessments. You should be able to juggle a wide range of responsibilities including administrative tasks.


To be successful as a Spanish teacher, you should be passionate about the Spanish language and culture. Outstanding Spanish teachers are energetic and able to inspire passion for the language in their students.



Key Responsibilities
 
• Developing lesson plans based on the needs of individual students.
• Providing conversational classes where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taught.
• Teaching writing and Spanish composition classes.
• Conduct research on teaching methods, materials, and language games that can be used in class.
• Scheduling and preparing students for oral and written examinations.
• Monitoring students’ progress by writing up reports and grading assessments.
• Teaching students about Spanish culture, which may include festivals, traditional food, and dress, and social conventions.
• Organizing fun events where students can showcase their Spanish language skills.



Qualifications

• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa from a native Spanish speaking county
• Hold an F4 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship or Korean citizenship
• F-Visa Holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy.
 
Working Conditions
 

• Student Type: Elementary to High School (Teaching grades differ depending on position)

• Curriculum: Provided by the school
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Hours differ depending on the school 
• Professional Development: Provided throughout each semester

Salary

Negotiable based up on experience and education

Benefits

• Insured with the 4 National Insurances.
• Severance Pay: Paid upon the completion of employment (minimum 1-year contract)
• Vacation: Average of 4-8 weeks per year
