About DL English Academy DL English Academy is a growing English academy located in Jamsil, Seoul, specializing in English Language Arts for advanced elementary students (Grades 1–6). Responsibilities include: Planning engaging and effective lessons Teaching English Language Arts classes Assessing student progress Grading assignments Writing report cards Posting homework Communicating regularly with fellow teachers regarding student progress Class Description Student Profile Elementary students (Grades 1–6) Small classes of up to 8 students Students are selected through placement testing and are able to communicate comfortably in English. Curriculum International-school-style English Language Arts curriculum including: Novel study Non-fiction reading Vocabulary development Grammar Writing Phonics & Word Study (lower grades) Students also participate in special events throughout the year, including Market Day, Movie Night, and other collaborative learning projects. Working Conditions Start Date: September 2026 Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 12:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Teaching Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 8:20 p.m. (20 teaching hours per week) Wednesdays: Professional development, student work analysis, teacher collaboration, and curriculum development Class Size: Maximum of 8 students Teaching Staff: Five Native English Teachers and Two Korean Teachers Curriculum Support Teaching materials and curriculum are provided. Teachers are encouraged to design engaging lessons that best meet the needs of their students while maintaining consistency with our curriculum.
