Career Institute began as PhoneCon, which was an established provider of phone english lessons. Over the past two years, we have rapidly expanded into Professional and Career English camps for university students, and Interview Preparation counseling over the past two years. Additionally, we provide short-term, skills focused training programs for large and medium sized companies in areas such as giving Presentations and professional Feedback. The business is diverse and expanding, pending the completion of construction, we will be opening a hagwon in the Bundang area in November, 2008. Our events are generally sponsored by institutional entities such as job portal sites, universities, government departments and corporations. This is not a kiddie hagwon, generally speaking, English instruction is taking place within the context of building professional communication skills. Pending the opening of the hagwon, more typical ESL classes and programs will be offered according to a standardized format with strict evaluation procedures.



We have multiple contracts for events such as Presentation Workshops, Mock Interview Fairs and Career English Camps in various locations starting in August, 2008. Consequently, we are seeking individuals who are motivated and interested in their work to join our team. Individuals should be PROFESSIONAL and EXPERIENCED and we are seeking Korean, Kyopo and Native Speakers. Individuals are chosen on the basis of Corporate Experience, ESL experience and qualifications, professionalism, personality, creativity and their willingness to learn and work as part of a team. Events are sometimes held predominantly in Korean, and at other times in English and the majority of events are designed and managed by a native speaker.



As a result of our growth, our areas of need include; K-E and E-K translation of resumes, text materials and marketing materials; Resume and Cover Letter editing; Business Skills lecturing on a 1:1 (Over the phone and in person) and Group (2-4 Day Camps, One-Day Camps and 2 Month Seminar programs) basis; Program Development Consultations; Internship Placement Programs; Korean Language Instruction; and Text and Curriculum Development for all of these programs. Due to the diversity of services we offer, training and development of our employees is a high priority.
