MAPO, SEOUL** ESL Teachers Wanted Full-Time & Part-Time
We are a friendly and supportive school in Mapo, Seoul, currently seeking ONE part-time and ONE full-time native English teachers to join our team. Our team already includes five native teachers from USA, Australia, and South Africa, and we're excited to expand! Position Details: • Location: Mapo, Seoul • Age Group: Kindergarten (5-7 year olds) & Elementary (Grades 1-3) Full-Time Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Mondays - Fridays Part-Time Working Hours: 9:20 AM - 12:20 PM Mondays - Fridays Requirements • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship (E-2 visa sponsorship only for FULL-TIME positions) • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy • Teaching experience preferred • Passionate about working with young children and fostering a postive learning environment Responsibilities Overview • Teach kindergarten students speaking, reading, writing, and listening through chants, songs, pictures, and fantasy books • Follow Altiora’s curriculum to help students learn English through kinetic learning • Help elementary students improve their English skills through critical reading and writing • Guide students through contemporary reading and journal writing • Prepare teaching materials ahead of time • Grade regular homework assignments • Track and report students’ performance date and give feedback
