Fayston is built on the foundation of mutual trust, respect, and accountability to provide an environment to ensure all members are actively engaged. We learn, grow, serve and enjoy to change the world through a genuine Christ belief, through God's grace to radiate Christ in our lives.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is based upon the principles contained in the Word of God. We incorporate teaching methodologies that employ critical thinking, debate and educational projects to ensure students are able to use their minds creatively.

At Fayston, we believe that education is not just about academic success but also about nurturing well-rounded, responsible global citizens. Our core values—kindness, empathy, helpfulness, compassion, and respect—are woven into every aspect of our elementary program. These values help students grow not only as learners but as servant leaders, with a strong sense of responsibility toward others and the world.

Our holistic curriculum integrates academic subjects with character development, fostering an environment where students enjoy learning and are encouraged to explore their full potential. With a focus on creating a supportive, nurturing space, we aim to ensure that every child flourishes both academically and personally, preparing them for the challenges ahead.

Fayston’s middle school program builds on our core values of Christ-centered, collaborative, experiential, and individualized learning. We emphasize a growth mindset, encouraging students to engage actively in both their academic and social-emotional development.

To foster this, we provide various support systems, such as Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), which enhance social-emotional learning and create a more engaged classroom environment. A unique aspect of Fayston is our in-house Kagan Cooperative Learning training, available year-round for teachers. This approach promotes student interaction and collaboration, setting Fayston apart as the only school in Korea offering this level of engaged, cooperative learning.

Fayston’s high school offers a challenging yet stimulating curriculum designed to prepare students for college and future endeavors. In addition to maintaining academic excellence, we emphasize personal development through integrity, teamwork, creativity, and independent learning. Experiential learning opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom, empower students to apply their knowledge in real-world situations.

Our high school program is rooted in mutual trust, respect, and accountability, ensuring that each student is engaged on a personal level. By fostering a growth mindset, we encourage students to embrace challenges and setbacks as opportunities for growth, cultivating resilience and courage. Fayston graduates leave prepared not just for academic success, but for a life of meaningful impact and leadership.
