Job Description
POLY is looking for qualified ESL to serve as kindergarten and elementary school-age teachers. Most of the teaching will be focused on teaching students from 1st to 4th grade.
Responsibilities Overview
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons
• Grade regular homework assignments
• Prepare and create tests and examinations
• Track and report students’ performance and give feedback
• Teach advanced English level elementary school students through speaking and writing, reading, grammar, and book discussion classes
Requirements
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy.
Salary
From 2.2 million KRW monthly (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)
Benefits
• Insured with the 4 National Insurances.
• Severance Pay: Paid upon the completion of employment (minimum 1-year contract)
• Vacation: 4 days of paid leave in summer, 4 days of paid leave in winter plus National Korean Holidays
• Airfare: Round trip tickets reimbursed upon submisstion of receipts with payment amount stated.
Housing
Housing Provided, Housing Allowance Provided
Single housing 15 minutes away from the campus on foot or 5 minutes away by car will be provided by the school.
Or the teacher can opt for a housing allowance instead.
