Roles and Responsibilities

At Hillside Collegiate, we are teaching the skills needed for students to study abroad.  Our curriculum, supported by innovative teaching techniques, modern resources and engaging programs, is designed to engage each student individually and prepare them for bright futures ahead.

Hillside Collegiate would like to work with you. Hillside Collegiate is looking for candidates who have passion and are serious about teaching. As our students are at more advanced English levels, those who have teaching experience would do well at our school.

You will be responsible for the following: 

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons
• Prepare teaching materials ahead of time
• Grade regular homework assignments
• Prepare and create tests and examinations
• You will be teaching pre-kindergarten classes in the morning with one elementary class in the afternoon a day.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy.

Working Conditions

Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities. 

• Teaching Age: Kindergarten and Elementary
• Working Hours: Kindergarten only (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or Kindergarten + Elementary (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Teaching Hours: 1,500 mins/week

• Class Size: 10 -12 students per class
• Lunch: Provided with one full hour break for teachers

• Teaching Staff: 8 Native Teachers/ 8 Korean Teachers
