HolGa Christian Academy is a K-12 bilingual Christian school located in Seocho district, Seoul. It offers an American College Preparatory Curriculum that develops competence in Bible, English, foreign language, history, mathematics, physical education, science, and practical arts. The school seeks to equip students for effective service and leadership by helping them to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

HolGa Christian Academy is a member of ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and a partner school of BJU Press Korea. 

We are currently seeking well-qualified English-speaking teachers for the 2023-24 school year. Priority will be given to applications who understand and implement the school’s vision and mission. 
 

Start date: August 1, 2023 
 

Job Description 

-    Full-time (Monday-Friday, from 8:00-17:00) 
-    Teach classes as assigned (~20 teaching hours per week) 
-    Provide classroom instructions and other duties as assigned 
-    Participate in staff meetings 

Qualifications 

-    Be a born-again Christian committed to living a biblical lifestyle 
-    Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university college 
-    Teaching experience in a classroom setting is preferred but not required 
-    Preferably holds a Korean F-VISA or possess Korean citizenship 
-    Preferably a fluent English speaker who can speak Korean 
-    Preferably resides in the Seoul Metropolitan area 

Working Conditions

Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school.  Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities.
