Location Description

Paju is a city in Gyeonggi Province, Korea with a population of 425,000. The city area of Paju is 672.78 sq. km (259.76 sq mi), and is located just south of Panmunjeom on the 38th parallel. It is quite close to the DMZ, which is on the border with North Korea. It is a historical city with a rich background of past events, even some dating back to the ancient era. Paju is easily accessible by car, bus, train within 30 minutes to/from Seoul.
