At Poly, reading is the cornerstone of our curriculum, with an emphasis on bilingualism, critical thinking, and leadership development.

Poly’s facilities are designed to inspire learning. Our libraries foster a strong reading culture, with our students reading an average of 389 books per year—five times more than their peers. We also welcome educators from other countries with extensive experience or a strong understanding of the North American curriculum. Our teachers thrive in intellectually stimulating settings and are passionate about inspiring students to reach their full potential. Teachers begin with one day of curriculum training, followed by two days of observation at the campus to meet staff and apply what they've learned. After arriving at the campus, teachers go through an orientation to understand their responsibilities and receive feedback from experienced teachers. We hold biannual workshops and training sessions to empower teachers to enhance their teaching methods and abilities.

  • Application Assessment: Review of qualifications and values,  and document screening by the Poly team

  • Interview Process: Evaluation of skills, values, and potential, typically through a panel interview (1:N).

  • Final Selection and Contract: Successful candidates will be notified and provided with a contract and onboarding details upon confirmation.

Since the 1990s, our Academy has fostered students’ growth in English language development with a proven learning curriculum incorporating North American curriculum standards. We strive to develop students into lifelong learners and contributing members of a changing world. We encourage our students to become critical thinkers and problem-solvers and to value their bilingual skills. We are looking for passionate and committed teachers who will continue this tradition. 1. Role and Responsibilities POLY is looking for qualified homeroom teachers to serve as kindergarten to elementary school-age teachers. You will be teaching mainly kindergarten classes in the mornings with elementary classes in the afternoons. You will be responsible for the following: • Teach and manage Early Childhood (5-7 year-old Kindergarteners) and Elementary aged students (Grades 1-5) • Prepare for the class using teaching materials provided by our campus • Communicate with campus managers regarding students’ classroom behavior and academic progress • Grade and edit students’ works (homework, essays, vocabulary quizzes, etc…) • Attendance of a Saturday teacher-training Workshop held twice a year (all campuses in Korea) 2. Candidate Qualifications • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy 3.
