Anseong Global Language Center(AGLC)
The Global Talent Education Center of Hankyong National University is an affiliated institute of Hankyong National University's Industry-Academic Cooperation. The Global Talent Education Center is established for the purpose of providing equal opportunities of language Education for the people of every class in Anseong City under the name of Anseong city Global Language Center(AGLC). We are seeking for qualified teachers to jointly manage the AGLC project. 1. Roles and Responsibilities • Deliver English lessons and assist in teaching for elementary, middle school, and adult learners, both internally and externally. - Elementary & Middle: One-day cultural experience program - Elementary: After-school reading and book-related activities - Middle: Reading comprehension and speaking classes - Adults: Basic to intermediate conversation and expression-focused classes • Create a fun and engaging supplementary activities for students • Complete student management reports and education journals • Develop English programs and teaching materials. • To perform tasks related to educational programs and other education-related duties as assigned by the head of the center. 2. Candidate Qualifications: • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Have a clean self-medical health check. • Must not be restricted from employment under Article 56 of the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth from Sexual Abuse. • Must meet the medical examination requirements for employment with no disqualifying conditions. Preferred Qualifications: • University major in Linguistics or Education. • Holders of English teaching-related certificates such as TESOL, TEFL, CELT, CELTA etc • Additional Qualifications: Those with an understanding of Korean culture or the ability to communicate in Korean 3. Working Conditions • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Extended hours or weekend work may be required during events related to the project. • Lunch Hours: 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. • Teaching Age: Elementary(G2-G6), Middle, Adult & Senior (over 59) • Teaching Hours: 15-20 hours per week (each class is 80 minutes) 4.
