Our goal is to provide an independent "American style" education as an alternative to Korean public schools, embracing biblical principles and the "Cultural Commission" (Matthew 28:19-20). 1. Roles and Responsibilities As a Spanish teacher at Big Heart Christian School, you will be responsible for teaching Spanish to all grade levels within the school. You will be responsible for: Teach Spanish reading, writing, speaking and listening. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons based on a set curriculum Prepare teaching materials ahead of time Grade regular homework assignments Track and report students’ performance dates and give feedback 2. Candidate Qualifications • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • Hold an F-4 or other F visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship or Korean citizenship • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. • Must be fluent in English (to teach Spanish in English) 3. Working Conditions Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities. • Teaching Age: Elementary, Middle and High School • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:10 A.M. - 4:20 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 5 classes per day • Prep Hours: 2 hours per day
