Compass Media is an English education company that publishes original English educational materials and provides e-learning contents and educational services. Our main customers are English institutes, distributors, universities, schools, bookstores, etc. in Korea, and we are cooperating with distributors by country overseas.
Rather than buying and publishing copyrights or importing applications from overseas publishers, we are publishing hundreds of English Language Teaching (ELT) textbooks developed in cooperation with native English language writers and illustration writers. In June 2011, it became a subsidiary of Woongjin Thinkbig, known as a study paper company, and became an affiliate of Woongjin Group.

Currently, Compass Media exports textbooks and copyrights to more than 30 countries around the world, including Taiwan, Japan, the United States, and Egypt. In 2009, on the 46th Trade Day, it won the "Tower of $ million exports" from the Korea International Trade Association, and the export sector is growing by about 20% every year.
Compass Media continues to strengthen overseas marketing for new books and online education services in order to establish itself as an educational company that "we create and export to the world." In 2012, I attended TESOL, TESOL Arabia (Dubai), and Bologna Children's Book Fair in the U.S. and have been aggressively marketing through major overseas exhibitions such as exporting textbooks and consulting on copyrights. Following the London Book Fair in April 2013, I attended major overseas exhibitions such as Taiwan's ETA (November) and Frankfurt Book Fair (October), as well as academic conferences in Japan and the United States.

Compass Media has launched "Reading Oceans," an online English multi-reading program categorized by level and area, for individual members since January 2013, offering online library content and a variety of post-reading activities. Reading Oceans consists of interesting and high-quality readers, including readers who have gained great popularity in English education communities such as Sunshine Readers, written by famous fairy tale writer Joy Cowley, as well as Phonics, rhythmic children's songs, nature, science, and society. In addition, professional reading managers can help our children develop the fun and habits of reading English books on their own through regular wire management and reports. Also, it is an English multi-reading service that allows you to develop a habit of reading and reading English books anytime, anywhere in various smart devices.

Just as Compass means Compass and Compass tells us the direction, we want to become a professional English education company that leads the global market by presenting new English education directions based on the e-Learning field, smart phones, and tablet PCs.
