Scholar Academy is a growing academy located in Apgu-Jung Dong. We have established a reputation as the premier humanities academy in Seoul and are looking to hire 2 history and humanities teachers. We cater to bright high school students who wish to attend college in America. Many of our students go to international schools or boarding schools in America and therefore have no problem with English. Because our students want to go to University in the United States we only hire teachers who have a degree from America. Starting pay is 40,000KRW an hour or 3,100,000KRW/Mo depending on Visa Status.  Start Date is June 10. We will be lookin to interview throughout May. 

 

We are looking for two teachers who can teach the following:

 

1. AP United States History
2. AP World History
3. SAT Reading
4. SAT Writing

 

 

Please note which one you would like to interview for. The more AP's you can teach the more hours we can give you. Ideally we would like someone who can do at least 2 of the 4 subjects above.

 

 

The interview process is the following:

 

1) A sample 10 minute mock class

2) A short 10 minute question and answer session

3) A written Diagnostic test 30 min

 

Please make the mock class over the subject you plan to teach and indicate what that is in your email reply. We have rooms with computers and monitors so those are all acceptable for the mock class.
