About ING English (Wirye Campus)
At, ING English, we have over 10 years experience teaching students English. We don't only aim to teach English, but we try to share the knowledge that we have gained about society, and the world through our teaching experience. Learning English can be boring, and exhausting if you learn it as a subject, but if you learn it as a tool of communication, and recognize the English can be used to connect with other people and societies from around the world, it can be exciting, and so much fun.
We want our students to be confident, happy, and responsible when learning English. Other traits that we encourage are respect, creativity, patience and passion. It can take some time to master English, but we encourage our students to keep on trying and not give up.
International School Program (ISP)
At ING English, we follow the International School Program, as part of our curriculum. From this curriculum, we teach students Language Arts, Social Sciences, History, Science, and encourage them to read both fiction and non-fiction. Thus, we allow our students to learn in a foreign classroom, and in a foreign setting, without having to go abroad to study.
We use textbooks certified by McGraw-Hill, such as Treasures, Trophy, and Science Fusion, but in ING, we mainly use Wonders as our main textbook. Through Wonders, we focus on teaching reading and writing, while having discussions in English as well to help students improve their conversational skills.
Our Teachers
At ING English, we follow a cooperative-system involving both our native English instructors and our bilingual local Korean instructors. While our native instructors are responsible for Storybook, Reading and Listening, our Korean instructors would be responsible for grammar, counseling, and student management.
We also follow a pre-set Lesson Plan provided by each instructor, in which parents can freely access to check their student's current progress.
