What is WCIS(Welltain Christian International School)?
Adolescence, the formative years of one’s life, is a significant stage during which one needs the most guidance for balanced spiritual and intellectual growth. Welltain Christian International School was founded to provide our younger generations with such guidance, focusing on four virtues: knowledge, physical wellness, moral character, and Christian Faith.
Firstly, WCIS strives to instill knowledge in our students. Within this rapidly changing world in which technological innovations influence our lives profoundly, students must have knowledge in order to make positive changes to our nation, and to the world. WCIS guides our students not only in the attaining of this knowledge, but also in recognizing the significance of knowledge and the acquiring of new ideas and lessons throughout their lives.
Secondly, WCIS motivates our students to maintain physical wellness. A person’s mind and the knowledge within, cannot function optimally without a healthy physical body to support it. Adolescence is a crucial stage of physical growth, during which one’s body reaches its maturity. Learning to maintain health during this critical stage will support our students throughout their lives, beyond their adolescent years.
Thirdly, WCIS encourages our students in the development of a moral character. For one to fulfill the vision God has placed in the individual, one must value caring, loving and respecting others, shown through polite manners and modesty.
Lastly, WCIS guides our students to thrive in Christian Faith. However powerful or wealthy one may be, man cannot find true Joy in life if he lives only for himself. For one to find True Joy in life, one must live by the lessons of the Bible, returning glory to God, loving thy neighbors, and spreading the gospel to the world.
Through the Word of God, WCIS guides our student in how to pursue a Righteous and truly Joyful life; a life to be used by God to make difference in our world. WCIS has been founded to offer such honorable virtues of knowledge, physical wellness, moral character, and Christian Faith to our students.
