AGI is a school located in Yeoksam Dong, Gangnam-Gu, Seoul. Our school is foreign owned and run. The owners/operators have over 30 years experience teaching and living in South Korea; we are better able to understand your needs as teachers and expats.

 

AGI is an academic school based on North American curriculum. We provide teachers with materials, lesson plans, objectives, and assessment methodology as well as any training required to be successful in the classroom.

 

Our Kindergarten teachers work with 6 or 7 year old students. Our After School teachers work with students between the ages of 8 - 12. We look for teachers who enjoy the experience of teaching young children and have the initiative to think creatively to add value to their classroom.

What began as a one-room classroom has flourished into a thriving school with 18 classrooms, making AGI an ideal workplace for dedicated teachers seeking long-term career stability in early childhood education. We prioritize a supportive, collaborative environment where educators feel valued and empowered to excel. With a team of professionals who have been with AGI for an average of 5+ years—and over 25% with us for more than a decade—our school is committed to the growth and development of both teachers and students alike. AGI’s curriculum is based on North American standards, providing a structured framework to foster a positive and enriching learning experience. Classes are intentionally small (no more than 11 students per class), well-resourced, and supported with ample teaching materials and additional resources. Our focus is on cultivating a positive, collaborative workplace where professional teachers receive the guidance, freedom, and resources to teach effectively and develop professionally.
