At BerkeleyEdu, you will be a kindergarten homeroom teacher with an English & Korean-speaking assistant teacher and you will be an English subject teacher to elementary school students (with no assistance). Responsibilities Overview • Conduct classes as scheduled. • Prepare materials for classes • Student assessment and reporting (every 3 months for Elementary, once a year for Kindergarten) • Communicate and cooperate with other classroom teachers, co-teachers, and administration • Attend meetings, workshops, and special events as required by the institute (up to 4 weekends in a year). Requirements • Be citizens of the following countries: U.S.A, Canada, U.K, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa • Have all required documents (apostilled nationwide criminal background check and an apostilled diploma from a 4-year accredited university). • Have a clean medical health check. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary School Students • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. • Break Times: 12:20~12:55(35min Lunch), 14:50~15:15(25min) • Prep Times: One 45-minute class period, per day. • Teaching Time: 35 Kindergarten Classes + 10 Elementary Classes a Week • Class Length: Kindergarten Classes 35 minutes, Elementary Classes 45 minutes • Class Size: 13 students maximum • Teacher Training: Native Teacher Workshop (provided by the Ministry of Education) Apply down below or send your resume to berkeleylanguageschool@gmail.com
